Love the Calendar...have purchased the companion book and have already started a project. Its inspiring and have set a goal to complete at least one project a month. I track all my projects on my yearly calendars, that way I don't lose track of a project. I also keep notes that might come in handy with future projects.
Last year I discovered Edyta Sitar's 2012 calendar at a quilt show. It was awesome. The 2013 calendar is the same high quality. Her color selections and designs are beautiful and inspiring. One of the qualities I especially enjoy is the combination of batik and print fabrics that bring a high quality, yet warm and cozy feeling to her quilts. I could wrap up in one of them. I love to examine each quilt in detail. The instructions for the quilts are available in her book. Information about her book is included in the calendar. I purchased last years book and will likely purchase this year's as well. She makes complex quilts seem easy with well written and clear instructions. I have had other quilting calendars, but Edyta Sitar's calendar is my favorite.
I use this calendar just for the pictures. I keep appointments on another calendar in the kitchen, but I love the beautiful photos. It inspires me as a quilter. I like the size and it fits in my calendar frame.
Wall calendar with beautiful quilt pictures. Nice large spaces for writing birthdays, appointments, etc. Would have given this calendar 5 stars if directions for the calendar quilts had been included, rather than a reference to Edyta Sitar's book in which you could find quilt patterns.
