Item arrived quickly but the paintings are a lot smallar than I had expected them to be. The paper to paint on is plain paper so I'm not sure how well it will hold up to the actual painting of it; because the paper is thin compared to the thicker paper made for watercolor.
beautiful pictures with specific skills to learn and practice on. This was not a complete set. It did not come in a box and it did not include the paints. But the lessons and various pictures were worth every cent
Yes, the paper is thinner then standard water color paper, but it has to be for the size and price! And the paint quality is poor, BUT the bi-weekly practice is excellent! Just doing the calendar for the first six months of this year has improved my watercolor skills. More importantly, my confidence in my painting has doubled because the "lesson" vary greatly, "forcing" me to try different styles and techniques. Well worth the price, when YOU make the effort.
I first saw this calendar in a store, but didn't buy it and regretted it. Thank you, for carrying it! I'm looking forward to Jan.1, to try my first painting!
