This is the second quilting day to day calendar I've recieved. I was disappointed with the box this years came in. It is not very sturdy and will probably rip very easy. It's also smaller than last years. This is one of those item's that, if it isn't broke, don't fix it!. This isn't a calendar that will be thrown out at the end of the year. Please go back to the old STURDY packaging next year. However I do like the blocks inside. I look forward to making a few.
I just received this calendar and am extremely disappointed. The calendar size is reduced by a third, the holder is flimsy, and, I feel, the designs are tasteless. I loved the 2010 calendar, but will look for something else to see and enjoy every day.
I hunted everywhere to find this item eventually found one on , I was so excited to receive it, what a crushing let down, please do not think I am bad mouthing the vendor, their part of the transaction was just fine. My problem is with the quality of the item from the publisher. I have purchased this calendar for the last 4 years and been thrilled with it, This year it is a far inferior production, thin flimsy pages smaller than previous years and the holder is rediculous, is made from thin card and will not hold the pages nicely let alone stand up for display as it should. I will not be purchasing this again next year, they might have cut their costs but they have also cut their loyal following who purchase this year after year on blind trust becuase it is shrink wrapped and you can not see the contents until you have purchasedpoor quality product - not worth the money - would not purchase again
I have always enjoyed this calendar, having bought one for myself and to give as gifts. However, the box for this years's calendar is so cheap and flimsy that I may have to reconsider next year. My mothers fell off onto the floor mixing up the pages. I have had to tape my box. I can't even put my my calendar in one of the previous years boxes as the page sizes have changed. Please go back to the cardboard box.
This calendar is whimsical and fun. Nice block and quilt ideas and directions. I bought one for myself and gave one to a quilting buddy. She liked it also.
