I used the Basic Beginnings Early writing practice to help get my two young sons ready for kindergarten in the fall... These books have pages for each of the upper and lower case letters (A-Z) as well as a variety of other activities. I like the way the book is laid out and the amount of "work" is completely appropriate for a beginning writer. I highly recommend this book!
Very easy to follow. This book is a big help for those who are homeschooling or preparing their kids for school.The pages are thick and the prints are of high quality. My 3 year old son enjoys doing the activities in ths book and will definitely buy the other Spectrum activity books as well.
Good system overall, but it moves very quickly. I would like to see more practice for each letter.

I love this educational series. Use it to supplement my son's homework and at church to keep him occupied. He seems to not mind when I give him a variety of projects from the series.
Great for practice but there arent that many pages and every activity for every letter is the same. My son finished this book very quickly.
I wish there was more space to practice the letters, but overall it's a good book.
Gift for grandson and he's now practicing his writing.
