My daughter loves this book. she is 4 and fascinated with germs. wish there was a hard cover book cause she wanted this read to her a few times a day and now it is worn out from so much use!! BUY THIS BOOK IF YOUR KID LOVES GERMS!
This book is cute, the illustrations are well done. It's a little freaky when kids believe that germs have arms and legs but that's OK. The reason I give it one star is the illustration on page 14. It says "cover your mouth before you sneeze." The picture shows her sneeaing into her hand. I am a school nurse and I would have to provide a caveat with that picture. We sneeze in our arms not our hands. I will just look for another book. This has a 2011 print date so I'm not sure why it hasn't been updated.
I love this book, the story by Judy Oetting is fantastic and fun to read to kids. The pictures are really great, and as an adult it has me washing my hands a lot more. A fun book for kids and adults.
This is an excellent addition to a nonfiction library or teacher resource. The pictures and information are great.
