We pre-ordered all of the Daniel Tiger books for our collection. This was the last to come and is now one of my sons favorites, his top three at this point are "A Ride Through the Neighborhood", "Goodnight, Daniel Tiger", and this one. Its a pretty long book which he loves and you get to meet the entire neighborhood even Mr. McFeely. The book is a very well made cardboard material and can handle a lot of wear and tear. My son likes to go to bed with a book so we either put this or the Trolly book with him since the wheels move and he can play with it.Overall this is a great book for any Daniel Tiger fan, you meet everyone on the show and have a great time doing it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great, children's book.
This is my 18 month old daughter's favorite book. It gives a good introduction to who all the characters are, so it is helpful for parents too. It is neat to see the original Mr. Roger's characters all grown up with children. What makes this book truly wonderful for younger toddlers is that it is very easy for them to flip the pages by themselves because of how the tabs are set up. We've had this book for 6 months and it is still in one piece, which says a lot about its construction! The characters included are: Daniel Tiger (and family), Katrina Kittycat (and Henrietta Pussycat), O the Owl (and X the Owl), Prince Tuesday (and family), Miss Elaina (and family), Dr. Ana, Baker Aker, Mr. McFeely, and Teacher Harriet.
If your child loves Daniel Tiger, this book is a fantastic book for a first Daniel Tiger book. It introduces all of the characters and each one has their own page. It's a board book and is holding up really well to the repeated readings that we are doing. I think this book is good for both those avid fans of Daniel and kids new to the characters.
Beautiful cardboard-type book for 4yr old beginning reader. The story per page was only about 2-3 sentences, I hoped the story per character was a bit longer tho. We finished the book quickly but wanted to read more. Overall very happy daughter, I'm buying more Daniel books. Daniel as a whole teaches kindness and uses polite words, unlike most kid's shows/stories that present rudeness as funny and cool.
Great hardboard book that follows the PBS television story of Daniel Tiger! Our granddaughter loves to watch and sing and dance along with Daniel Tiger and now she loves to sit and read along the stories from the books with Daddy and Mommy and her grandparents!
Love the Daniel Tiger books and series...this board book is nice quality and entertaining. The paragraphs are long--so just know that when you are buying it this isn't a one liner per page book. Personally I prefer the books with a little more content but it depends on your little ones attention span.
I purchased this book because my niece really enjoys watching the show. She was excited to receive it but lost interest in it fairly quickly. Now it sits on the shelf and when she goes down for a nap at my place, I'll see if it interests her again. I like the tab design and the illustrations are fun. It is a good introduction into who the characters are; I was unfamiliar with this new generation of characters.
I have been watching Daniel Tiger since the first episode aired on tv .I don't have a favorite neighbor I love all of them.I watch this show with my baby named Boo she loves Daniel.
