The young readers could learn much from Marion experience of slowing down and finding meaning in other things. Marion sprained her ankle and she was not able to perform in her piano and ballet lessons and even had to give up her horse competition, she found out that her friends valued her for who she was and not because of her awesome achievements. By focusing on what she could do while she could only hopped, she came up with brilliant ideas on how to find homes for six strayed kitten! I especially like the pictures in the book! In fact parents could ask their children to tell a story using the pictures alone!
My six-year-old daughter loved this book. We took turns reading chapters aloud. I especially love that there are small pictures on every page; they hold her interest and keep the reading from becoming tedious.
My 5 year old loves these books. They are easy enough for her to read although she only normally reads a paragraph or two and then we take over. They have a good amount of pictures to keep her interested.
We own all the Critter Club books. The story line is interesting to girls and the chapters are short with pictures. This is a great first chapter book series.
Yet another great story from this series. My daughter even commented that she thought she knew what was going to happen in the story but she was surprised that she was wrong. My girls can't wait for the 5th book to be released!
My 7 year old daughter loves this series and tears through them. I will continue to buy any series that keeps her engaged in reading and challenges her.
I buy these books for my 9 year old daughter! She Loves this series and we can not wait until the next one comes out!
Students are loving to read this book. They are also finding success at taking an AR test on the iPad.
