I loved this adorable book about a lonely, timid mouse and the king of the jungle.The little brown mouse feels invisible because he is so small and so quiet that no one ever hears him. They do though hear the lion who sits on a rock far on the top of the mountain.One night the lonely mouse decides he needs to know learn how to roar. He knows exactly who should teach him. When he visits the lion the tables turn and it's the little, mouse who is finally heard.You never know where you next best friend is coming from so be kind to everyone.The story is adorable. The graphics especially of the sweet, big eyed mouse are wonderful. Great collaboration.
I love books with rhyme and rhythm. This is an outstanding book that teaches a "life" lesson in a great and pleasant way. I read to children in kdg. first and second and it's suitable for all three. Naturally, discussion depends on the grade level. The illustrations were beautiful.
Wonderful story with very good messages, and colorful illustrations. Fun for the reader if reading to one who is too young to read yet, but never too young to get started on receiving encouraging messages.
The story was simply to understand, and since I have 2 young grandchildren, I know that they will love reading this book. Graphics are cute. The flow of the tale has a couple of nice surprises that will keep young readers engrossed in the plot
Grandkids love it!Read it at least 2 to 3 times while on our visit. For 3 boys, it was not the one who I thought would like it...interesting.LOLThank you!
