Our 4 year old daughter loves Daniel the Tiger. She is a bit of a picky eater and does not always want to try new things. This story is very relatable for her since Daniel and Miss Elaina are trying new foods and aren't sure if they will like the new foods or not. We love how the positive message about trying something new because you might like it is repeated several times throughout the story.
I bought this book for my picky eater 2 year old, who enjoys Daniel Tiger. I was hoping reading this book with him would help open him up to trying new foods...and it did!!! Since receiving and reading the book, he will try new foods. I just sing the little jingle "try a new food, you might like it" and he says "just like Daniel Tiger" and will usually at least take a bite. I really like that this and other Daniel Tiger books tackle feelings and other tricky issues within fun, simple stories that are easily understood by little ones. Would definitely recommend if you have a picky eater in your house!
Daniel Tiger....If it weren't for you I don't know how our daughter would try new foods...lol. As always Daniel's catchy tunes draws our daughter in and now she sings it every time we try new foods. We love all the Daniel Tiger books and this one is no different!
Grandson adores anything Daniel tiger and this book was no exception..We we glad to see that the Daniel folks are so consistent in the products which they attach their name to.
Great book for our 3 year old-- I love how Daniel tiger teaches many lessons and this one is about trying new foods.
DT has helped me so much to talk to my toddler about different things. When he doesn't want to try new foods, we sing this made up song based on the Daniel Tiger show and adapt it to the situation. He really identifies with it...
Cute book. Added it to a set we received of other books for Christmas. My 3 year old loves Daniel Tiger.
