My four year old daughter loves ponies and superheroes and loves to look at and read this book. It's not a complicated storyline- but it is meant for very young kids. I would steer towards a different book if your child is much older than 4 or 5.
My Little Pony was a standard in my house growing up. From the Saturday morning cartoons, blankets and of course, the plastic pony toys. Soon as my girls were enough, I was excited to introduce them into the exciting pony world... only to find it has become so much more! These books are amazing. My oldest is learning to read and this is her go to book! Even my youngest is excited to "read" and loves the brightly colored pictures. I look forward to getting the whole series and highly recommend them for any pony fan.
My daughter is a MLP fun... She collected all the ponies but this one. She saw me browsing on and saw this power pony. She was begging me to have this power pony book. Like all mothers, i do not want to break my daugter's heart. I ordered this one and arrived quickly. She is very happy woth her pony book.. And keep saying Thank you to me.. I only gave 4stars because do not have enough pages for the price..
My step daughter says that she loves everything about this comic book! The art work looks exactly like the animated series! The story is very full filling compared to this episode of my little pony. She is going into 5th grade and has no problems with how it reads.
This was the book that motivated my child to want to learn how to read because she's a big fan of these power ponies. She actually started trying harder and started to remember trick words. At the start of the book it asks the child to look out for 4 words (like comic) and she had fun with that.From my point of view, I did not pay attention to the story but phonetically it was great was my child at the level she's at (the summer between k-1 and not a strong reader).
My girls love this book. Goes with the target mlp power ponies and the episode.
My kids love this book and have made me read it to them everynight.
I bought his for my 4 year old. She likes it okay, but the story line is really difficult to follow and borderline nonsensical. I guess it is because it is trying to follow a comic book styling.
