Seriously, we have given 3 of these as gifts and have one for our 2 year old. A toddler who likes the show goes crazy for this book like a tween for Taylor Swift. The wheels move people! We get pictures from the recipients parents of them going around the room saying 'Ding Ding!'
Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 min of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. They teach adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. This is a nice board book with great pictures. It has some pages with very simple text at the bottom & more complex text on the top. Adds to the length of time the book can be useful for young kids.
My daughter loves this show, and these books are great supplementary materials. This one references several episodes and I ask my daughter questions about what happened and how they felt and what they did. I like that she's learning how to navigate her emotions and different social situations, and I can read the book instead of worrying about her watching to much tv.
Great hardboard book that follows the PBS television story of Daniel Tiger! Our granddaughter loves to watch and sing and dance along with Daniel Tiger and now she loves to sit and read along the stories from the books with Daddy and Mommy and her grandparents!
I like this but the book so much! Yet, it came bent...instead of being flat, it was curved so it doesnt sit flat on a flat surface. I think it's the manufacturing because the packaging was very protected with bubble paper, still works and not worth the hassle for a return so we kept it :)
I have a 21 month old who loves, loves Daniel Tiger and she has fallen in love with this book along with some of the other Daniel Books. The book is short and easy to read and when I am not reading it, she "reads" it herself.
This is my almost 2 year old toddler's favorite book. We had a hard time getting him interested in reading for the longest time -- he would just throw them across the room. Until this book. We bought him 4 other Daniel books which he also likes, but this one is by far his favorite.
Very cute book. I like that it is a board book because our oldest child, who loves Daniel Tiger, can read it and our youngest child can't damage it! Nice little book about Daniel and Prince Wednesday.
