My 4 year old daughter recently discovered the Lion Guard show and this was her favorite episode, so she enjoys getting to read this. The story is about Kiara, Simba's daughter, who gets the privilege of being Queen while her parents are away, but in the end she learns that she's getting more than she bargained for. Her brother Kion thinks she's being big headed and she makes a mistake that could've cost her her life because she thought she knew better and ignored his advice. Luckily, Kion and his friends showed up to help her just in time! The story has a good message in it for kids that sometimes they think they know it all and in reality they should trust the advice of loved ones/ elders who have much more life experience. It led to a good conversation and life lesson for my daughter about that.The illustrations are very colorful and look just like the cartoon. The included 2 sheets of stickers was a nice touch as well and the stickers were easy to peel off and high quality. Very cute book!
My daughters' love this book. It's basically the paper version of the tv show episode. The pictures are great and it's easy for them to follow
I bought this book as a gift for my niece. It came the day that I expected it and it was in perfect condition. I would recommend it to anyone who has a child in their life who loves the lion guard.
Son loves the Lion Guard. This book allows us to read together about something he loves. Wish there were more.
