This book was a gift for my grandson for his birthday. He is in 2nd grade and loves reading these books. He read this particular book and was telling me all about it. Finally found books the grandchildren are excited about reading. The vocabulary is at their level and the stories hold their interest. Bought several of them for all three grandchildren to share.
This is such an interesting and easy way to present things from history for students. I really do like this book and I like the illustrations a lot. I am delighted with Who Was Seabiscuit and believe that it will hook a lot of reluctant readers in school. I enjoyed learning about Seabiscuit and think that others will as well.
My 8 year old daughter loved this book!! She is a huge fan of the Who Was series. They are educational but written in a way that really interests kids and holds their attention. She especially loved this book b/c she is such a horse lover.
I think this is a good book and I am proud of Seabiscuit for recovering after his injury. I hope people will still remembered him and everything he has done .I am praying for Seabiscuit and all of his hard work to win the races I love you Seabiscuit I still see you in my heart
