This little book is super cute, as Daniel walks readers through his family's favorite Christmas traditions. I loved that several of the traditions mentioned are things our family and others do, too. And that the author emphasizes spending time with the people we love as one of the most important things about Christmas (not gifts). We have a bin of Christmas books that we keep in the attic with Christmas decorations and bring down on December 1st to read with our kids. The original goal was to have a book for each day of December, leading up to reading the Night Before Christmas on the 24th, but we now have more than 24 books. This was a very welcome addition to our collection.
I am amazed at out of all the other kids shows out my Daughter learns more good behaviors from Daniel Tiger. Or as we call him here Danny Tiger . She is always coming up to me saying like Daniel said wash your hands , or when your sick , rest is best, rest is best. Daniel really gives them confidence to face their problems in a real grown up way . I love this show i think that it is a great nod to Mr rogers but honestly even better if that is even possible .
My daughter (3 years old) loves all things DT and this book was not a disappointment for either of us. This is one of the higher quality character Christmas books we have. The pictures were really cute.
My 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter both love watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on tv. Of course they love this book. It is cute, typical of what I expect to see with Daniel Tiger. My children love the pop-up flaps and their surprises. We keep this book under our Christmas tree and read it every day since we put up the tree.
Our two year old grandson is a major Daniel tiger fan,So this book was very happily received! The pictures and words are just perfectFor his age group, and he adores the lift the flap aspect. It's a very sturdy book, and just the right size for himTo hold himself when he does his independent perusing of his books!
My daughter lives for Daniel tiger and this was nice to find because the shows very thoughtfully never reference religious or denominational holidays, they have "snowflake day" so this was nice for her to see Daniel relate to her about Christmas. Good book, I was glad I got it for her.
My 3 year old son still loves this book that he received for Christmas when he was 2.5 years old - it's almost summertime and we still read it at least once a week! He loves opening the flaps and seeing what are Daniel Tiger's favorite parts about Christmas!
Our 16mo daughter loves the cartoon, but this book is a little advanced for her. The flaps are difficult to flip and there are a lot more words than you would expect, which causes her to become bored quickly. Also, the flaps are really thin and can be easily ripped.
