This is a wonderful introduction to the beautiful art form, the Spiritual. Bryan's selection is broad and include familiar tunes along with those not so widespread. The colors are inviting and seem to dance along with the melodic melodies of the notes.
Not only is this an excellent collection of spirituals for children, it is great for adults also. The illustrations are stunning.
This is a lovely book, with the lyrics and music for many traditional spirituals. The illustrations bring the book to life.
With deep simplicity and ageless grace, this book is art, music written out and soul for all ages.
