Book is great for young girls to begin exploring & keeping track of their own family history-Great Idea! Love the book, the Author/Editor. However, the sender/book store was the problem. I Purchased this in "Like New" condition but apparently the seller never opened the book to see that it was totally marked up with many pages of a previous young owner's name, & own personal family information. Very disappointing, I intended this as a gift-just a waste...
This book consists of pages with questions for your child to ask her mother and grandmother to learn about their past experiences.
It will be a place for you to write the memories of your grandmothers, your mothers and you.Some things are easier to remember, but other things are easy to forget. Stories about what happened to you in the past are your history. You can write a history book because you have history. But you will want to record your history , but also ask your mother questions, and ask your grandmother questions. It will be good if you can find a quiet time to write down your memories and then talk to your mothers and grandmothers. Fill in the blanks in the book as you talk to them. Or if you want you can write up the stories later. This will allow you to have a history of what it was like for them to grow up and you will learn how things have changed for girls in America.
