I wish I could give The Opposite Zoo 10 stars. There is a mystical, child-like quality to this picture book that is incredibly difficult to achieve. If anyone remembers spin art from fairs and amusement parks during the 70's-it has that bright, helter skelter, original quality but in a professional manner. Each page is a glorious wonder. Bravo!
I like the other Il Sung Na books but this is boring and same old same old with opposites. Not worth the money! Would have returned if I made it to the computer by the return window!
Beautiful pictures illustrate the tour of the " opposite zoo". We get to see large,small,quiet loud and many other combinations of animals. Great book.
It was just OK, not great. Another way to tell the opposite than a picture, touch, smell...
