Excellent illustrations by Ashley Rodes bring the story visually alive as the reader is introduced to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands when Tomas goes on his dream-like adventure. At the back of the book is an "Interesting Facts" page, which, if you're an adult reading the book with a child, you may want to read first so you can enhance and explain the story more.
Loved the story line. It was easy for a child to understand without going into a lot of detail. My grand child loved it. I thought the illustrations were beautiful, done by my niece Ashley.
Imagination comes to life in the book Tomas & the Galapagos Adventure. Join Tomas as he explores Galapagos Islands and takes off on a wild adventure. There is so much to see in the beautiful illustrations that you cannot help but to be swept up in the story. It is both beautiful and creative. You will see the landscape, indulge in the native foods, and get to know the animals that call the island their home. It is a sure fire hit for all young kids who have ever imagined going on an epic journey. 4.5 starsI received this book free for my honest review.
