As a first grade teacher, we have been teaching the students the meaning of the equal sign. Next year, I will introduce the equal sign with this book. This year, I used it to review the concept of the equal signâ¦we had a lot of great classroom discussion about it.
This is a terrific book! The 3rd grade math teacher at our private school uses this book in her class. Well worth the money.
This is a great way to explain the concept of equality to young children. It is entertaining and informative. It should be part of the library in all K-3 classes.
A little wordy but still and excellent book for teaching the true meaning of "equal" to students. Can't wait to read other books by this author.
