This is a great book for my ESL tutee who is now in middle school. Although hampered by his lack of facility in oral and written English, he does well in math and aspires to a career in science.I know that this book will help him because I do not believe his parents will be able to assist him in homework. Because I know he wants to work in science, I am happy to gift him something that he can use for a career in Science Technology Math or Engineering (STEM). STEM is being encouraged for students who are underachievers in our California Central Valley town.
Very good book to supplement our regular textbook. We have used several of the Spectrum math books and have never been disappointed.
