Very cute book for any Minnesota fan. Lot's of fun Minnesotan references. The best thing about this book is that the actual story itself is written in a kid friendly language however, on the bottom of each page there is an Encyclopedia type reference with more information on whatever the corresponding word is. The book is informative and fun to read.
Teachers, home-school teachers, and parents this is a fantastic book to engage your young children and students. You will love the bright and colorful pages full of facts in a set-up that is conducive to many types of learners. You will be enthralled from page one until the very end. Also great while teaching the history of Minnesota.
My DC grand kids read this to me every time I come to visit. Love that they are getting a little history along with a their bedtime routine.
