This series is by far the best children's biographies. We choose one a month to read and study in our homeschool. I have found that these books contain enough information and details for the children to learn of these individuals and their works without being a drag. The photos are excellent as well.
This was a great book for my 1st grader it was easy and simple to read. She had to write about her and she got a 95
My 9 year old granddaughter loved it. Was impressed with how she overcame her "ugly duckling status"thrust upon her by an insensitive mother and how she found herself and became a great lady.
I BOUGHT ABOUT 5 OF THESE BOOKS IN DIFFERENT FORMS OR ANOTHER FOR MY STUDENTS..ELEANOR WAS QUITE AN AMAZING WOMAN BUT NEVER REALLY TOOK ANY BOWS / BUT THIS DOES NOT MEAN OUR CHILDREN TODAY CAN NOT REACH AS HIGH AS THEY CAN EVEN WHEN THE REST OF THE WORLD CAN'T SEE OURINNER BEAUTY AND BRAINS /WE MUST NOT LET OUR CHILDREN BE BULLIED*****ELEANOR IS A GREAT EXAMPLE********
My daughter had to do a speech on ER and this book was perfect. Informative, but fun and she could understand it.
My daughter loves to read about historic figures. This book delivers a lot of information to kids in a fun format.
Purchased for daughter to use to write a report, great resource.
Great book. My students are loving it.
