Kumon rocks!! Love these! You'll notice I have a ton of them because I can't get enough for my kids, we homeschool and I love that these have a gradual progression into the subject. There's always a review and then before you know it your kid has the subject matter down. I love Kumon books and hope they keep coming out with more subjects, especially for high school!!
I have ordered all the books in the 3rd and 4th grade series...math and reading/writing. After I ordered 2 books, I was so impressed that I wanted them all. It is perfect for "filling in the gaps" for my son. He can work at his own pace and continue learning throughout the summer. We are going to continue with these books throughout the school year. I would highly recommend these books to any parent who wants to help their child make major improvements in reading and math.
Great workbook that will enhance your child's learning. My 9yr old accelerated through it rather quickly. It is self paced and similar to the material your child would get exposed to in an actual Kumon program.
Perfect for keeping your child's skills up over the summer or when on break. The additional work helps them to sharpen their skills as well. I believe the book is right on target with what our child is learning in class at the moment.
I am REALLY happy with this book! I homeschool and my oldest is in 3rd grade. We are using this book and the multiplecation one as morning work to really get her facts down before we move along, and this book explains everything in a simple and fun way. Lesson are quick and not overwhelming. I would highly recommend this book
I think every parent should by this for their 3rd graders. Because it makes easy for the kids to Learn these things
This is a great book for re-enforce my son's math skills. it is designed step by step, help child master the basic concept of Geomethry and Measurement.
Kumon books are generally good and progressive. Been buying kumon since my daughter was 3 yrs old. Now both my 9 and 6 year olds are still using them without being too pressured into faster learning.
