These cards are not complete. they might have 3+1 but not 1+3. I wrote to the manufacturerer and they said there was only room in the box for a smaller number of cards so they assumed if you know 3+1 you know 1+3 but it does not work that way with kids. If I am working with three's on a particular, I want all the three problems. I will be looking for a comprehensive set with all the equations. Other than that (which is huge) they are fine cards.
In reading the reviews, I have come to the conclusion that everyone is receiving something different. The set I received is missing cards and has different equations on the other side. A few other customers posted feedback that "their side" displays the answer. Save your money and time and download a free app on your phone! I have done this and there are wonderful apps out there that let you choose the function and what numbers (if you want to add by 1's and 0's, etc).
I was told by my child's teacher that she needed some flash cards for practicing math facts at home. When I visited my local store, no flash cards anywhere. I decided to hop on and order some, with a few other items, and get them shipped to me for free. Great idea! I got the cards. They are a nice size with big numbers so my daughter doesn't have to sit on my lap to do the problems. The corresponding answer is on the back of the card, so I don't have to flip the cards over to see the problem. Plus, the great thing is that there is a problem on both the front and the back.
I said it for the Subtraction cards I got and have to repeat it for these Addition cards. Wow, I'm impressed with the results. My grand son is going into Kindergarten this Fall and wants to learn his math but hard to keep him involved for long. With these he will go through the entire deck, almost like a game, before 'finishing his homework' and losing interest. Amazing results make it well worth it, cannot beat the price, and they are study and will hold up for his use and that of his younger sister I am sure. Definitely recommend them.
We've been using them for a few weeks with my first grader. The only part I don't love about them is some of the 6's are in the glossy side and the rest are in the non glossy side so if you are isolating the 6's it's tricky find them all and keep them facing the right way. But that's a very minor problem that won't keep me from buying subtraction or multiplication when the time comes.
This product was a bargain and served it's purpose very well. I let my 2 sons whom are close in age play a game on who could say the correct answer the fastest. This encouraged them to learn the factors by memory which made it easier when doing homework
Good little flash cards. Good size for holding up to practice with your child and I like that the full problem and answer are printed on my side. They are colorful and interesting without being over the top.
I ordered this product to help my 6 year old daughter. The first set came in with missing cards. That was okay; accidents happen so I sent it back. I just received my new one and it too has missing cards.
