My daughter is 8 loves to read and can't get enough of these books. She can read one a day. The series is well written and she loves to share all the factsshe has learned about, Ronald Reagan, Dr. Seuss, and Johnny Appleseed

This book is a very concise, clear, and simple way to know about the life and work of Johnny Appleseed. It might be intended for children (I bought it for my grandkids) but I have learned a lot from it too.

This is a very well written account of the legend of a great American hero and steward of the earth. This book is not only interesting but also very informative for the developing young mind, I highly recommend this read.

children loved the easiness of the book to read and comment on during class... I would recommend it to anyone

A little history made fun. I ordered this book for my wife who teaches in a municipal child development center. She was very happy with this purchase. And this is from a teacher with 3, 4, and 5 year olds who, years later gets visits from her students. I trust her judgement and would have to give this book an A+ on her recommendation.

This book was a pretty good and accurate book. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone of all ages. I enjoyed it and it even had special facts you could read about apples.

This was for my homeschool class and one of them read it as soon as I received it. When they want to read something is proof enough for me that I need more Who Was books.

I am purchasing the whole series. These books are excellent for ages 8 and up. They provide informative information and are extremely interesting for a young reader.
