I purchased these cards for games with my four-year grandchildren. The cards have a plastic coating thick enough to stand up to eager little hands. They are also easy to keep clean with just a damp cloth. The best part though is that while playing my grandson is learning to recognize numbers. He also thinks the cards' pictures are funny and fun to look at. I recommend these cards to anyone who is looking for an easy card game and cards that can stand up to every day play.
These cards are absolutely huge - almost the size of two ordinary playing cards side by side. If I'd been able to see them before buying, I wouldn't have gotten this particular game. The quality seems good - they are slick on the picture side, matte finish on the back. But I think these are just too large for small hands.
My kids absolutely love this game and it passes the time by quickly. I have a 4, 6, 8 and a 14 yr old. When they are bored, they pull this game out and can play for hours. I like the fact that the cards are large, it makes it less likely for them to bend or tear them easily like they do with smaller or regular size cards. I even have fun when I play this with them, probably because my 4 yr old cries every time he gets the old maid. I tell him that its only a game and that next time someone else will get it. So when someone else gets the old maid, he laughs at them. Gotta love 4yr olds.
The cards are way too big for my kids to hold and look at. They had to lay them out on the floor to play
