I saw these at the Hirshhorn Museum Shop in Washington, D.C. The nice thing was that they had a box open and on display to look through.Having a son who is huge into optical illusions, I knew he had to have them for Christmas. There are 50 cards in the box. On each card is an illusion with a question, "Which line is longer" or "Do these lines bend" or "What happens to this shape when you move the card back and forth". There is a huge variety of mostly classic illusions and a few new ones. There are some very similar illusions that duplicate the same theory.The illusions come in a variety of lines, color, hidden images, moving images and other tricks of the eye. On the opposite side of the card is an explanation of the illusion sometimes with the history of it as well.
I bought this for my to be 8 year old boy's birthday party Pre-magic show activity. Its perfect to leave it out on the table for kids to try out different illusions. Very nice quality, hard stock to last a long while.
An extra gift for that hard-to-please teen or tween? These illusions are fun. Nice gift for younger children--six and on and even adults.

Great set of Optical Illusions! The only thing is the cards can easily get misplaced. These cards would be great to have at school!
