An elderly lady tha was a horseman in her younger days always had a Horse calendar.This year no one gave one to her and she was unable to shop anymore. We got this calendar for her and she loved it.
This series of images reflects the essence of the horse, offering some great pictures to go along with the monthly calendar. It's an ideal gift for the horse crowd.
I absolutely love this wall calendar and would be thrilled to purchase it again in 2015.I look forward to turning over each new photo every month, and the quotes were surprisingly appropriate for what I was going through each month. (Granted, sometimes we apply cute little sayings in ways they were not intended or actively try to see how it might relate, but they made me smile or think about things and that was appreciated).The photos are very real/natural, and show horses in a variety of settings- although they are gorgeous photos, they don't look physically altered or Photoshopped (overly smooth coats lacking in hair texture for the shaggier breeds, etc.) in any way. That's a plus for me.The squares are big enough for me to write the Big Things each day for easy reference, though I do keep a personal electronic planner to allow for more detail and scheduling of specific time slots. All major holidays are included, as well as the basic moon cycles (which was interesting if not exactly useful).Very happy with my purchase!

The saying for each month should be larger. It's way too small to read unless you are very close to the calendar. Other than that I love it.
