I love this calendar but won't buy it for 2016 and want the publishers to know the reason why--there are no winter pictures during the winter months. December especially needs to look wintery. I hope they return to the seasonal porches for 2017 so I can buy it again.
I have hung this calendar every single year since the very early 90s when it first came out. I never tire of it, and I can't live without it. I have already ordered my 2016 wall calendar, and it is safely here in my office, ready to replace my 2015. The pictures are always high quality, restful, beautiful and inspiring, and each is accompanied by a quote from a book...sometimes, the quotes have inspired me to find the books and ready them. A win-win!
I was really disappointed in this calendar. Some of the months have the "calendar" part divided up between two pages. So, if I wanted to fold it over to view the calendar portion of the month of February, I'm out of luck because the first three weeks are on one side and the last week is on the other side.
I have bought this calendar every year for several years now. It has beautiful, relaxing scenes and porches. There are large spaces around each date, with the numbers in pastel colors, in which I write down appointments, etc. I didn't take a star off because I love it, but I agree with another poster that a couple of months of winter scenes would be great. A beautiful calendar.
I used to rotate the types of calendars I get each year (although they always include water) but this has become my favorite. I love the composition, the colors, and the combination of porches and water. So peaceful and serene.
I love everything about this calendar. Great quality, the pictures are beautiful and there is enough room under each day for me to write in what I need. I will not hesitate to purchase this again for 2017.
Gorgeous photography, and interesting quotes for each month. Good quality paper. Have ordered this calendar for at least five years running. Depicts a state of mind to slow down and enjoy the view.
I get my Mom this Porches calendar every year. It is a bit of a tradition. She loves the pictures with chairs sitting empty looking at the view and finds them to be inviting places where she and I might sit together.
