I’m a little old-fashioned when it comes to some things, such as using a paper engagement calendar instead of an electronic one for my personal use. I record all sorts of things in it - appointments, vacation information, exercise, etc. Each year, I purchase the Sierra Club Engagement Calendar because I love their pictures. I have kept several years' worth, which I can go back through and reminisce about various activities (sort of like a diary, but without having anything too incriminating). The pages are not as thick as they once were, but I still find them to be of decent quality. The spiral binding makes it easy to flip through the pages. There is one week per page with ample writing space for each day. Best of all, the photos of the animals and scenery are absolutely amazing. I especially like it when I discover a picture taken in my own state. It makes me appreciate my surroundings that much more.
The Sierra Club Engagement Calendar has never let me down. Besides showing stunning images to me weekly it is also the right size engagement calendar for me. There is plenty of room to write notes to myself for that day's events. I have been purchasing this calendar for many years - it just works for me.
I get this book every year. I order it early when I become aware of concerts and other dates I need to record for the next year. I can't get used to just keeping a calendar on my cell phone. I like having the book with plenty of space to write. Excellent format and always nice pictures.
I have purchased the Sierra Club Engagement Calendar for over a decade. At the beginning of each week, it is such a delight to turn the page and see yet another "testament" to this beautiful country of ours. That is worth many times more than the modest price of this calendar. The photography is superb. En-joy!
I have been using these Sierra Club Engagement Calendars for more that 20 years for keeping a brief daily journal and I love them. I've kept all 20+ years of them (in a big plastic tub to protect them) and it's fascinating to look back and see that I went grocery shopping on July 20th, 1987, lol. History in the making. But seriously, it's fun to keep a daily log (I barely remember what I ate for lunch most days, so these help) and the photos are superb. I'm a professional travel/nature photographer and I have to say, these are the best photos out there. Gorgeous.
I've bought one of these calendars every year for the last 8-10 years. My husband uses one to log his daily exercise. The photos are beautiful. Spiral binding makes it easy to lay flat or fold back to show only current week. Good amount of space to write. Only negative is that over the years the weight of the cover stock seems to get lighter each year. Still a good value for the price
I've used these calendars for about 30 years noting my daily exercise and major activities, a bit like a journal or a diary. Beautiful pictures accompany each week of the calendar, and the profits go to a good cause.
LOVE this engagement calendar ! I've been buying them for years ! The book is apx. 6.5"X 9.5" . The week starts with Monday (vs, Sunday like some calendars). There is a 1"X 6" blank space by each day to write your appointments....oh and there are beautiful photographs to boot !
