So disappointed this year! The illustrations are better than last years; however, Workman Publishing placed the "bubble" with their own reminders about signing up for things on their site so it bleeds into the graphics this year. Last year these were only below the line where the date was written out so you can remove that portion if you wanted to pin the graphic to your wall. The main selling point of their calendar, which is listed on the front of the box, is "365 day of word to inspire and art to keep." It bothers me that they have now ruined several pages of the art.

I'm liking this desk calendar. I always have a stand-up calendar on my desk and I prefer those with positive, upbeat messages. In the past, I've usually gotten the "Life's Little Instructions" calendar; however, I saw this colorful calendar and decided to try it.If you're into great colors and positive messages, this calendar is for you. It's well worth the money (if around $10 or so). It's bigger than prior years' calendars I've had. In comparison, the 2016 Life's Little Instructions calendar is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"; this calendar is 5 7/8" x 5 7/8". The plastic backing is a cheerful yellow color.The artwork is beautiful and the paper has a nice low sheen on it. The day and date are easily visible. The bottom portion of the page, where the day/date are, could be cut off and you'd have a really nice piece of art that would be 5 5/16" wide x 4 3/4" high. A few of the pages have an annoying "special offers" ad that was inexplicably placed intruding into the art. It's an annoyance, but not on too many pages; my guess is it occurs about once a month.This is a Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2017 calendar. I'm really delighted with it and look forward to seeing it on my desk.

The 2017 illustrations are really nice, better than 2016 in my opinion.
