I enjoy black and white nature photography. For years I've been buying the Ansel Adams calendar, but this year opted to try something different. Paul Kozal's photos are beautiful, but the paper stock and layout of this calendar does not fully capture the beauty of the artist. The paper is flimsy and the lower quality does not capture the vibrancy of the artist's work. I've gotten so used to the high quality of the paper stock and lushness of the Ansel Adams calendar, that this one falls short. It's not a bad calendar, it just does not measure up to some others in terms of the quality.
Oh my gosh PAUL!! This is truly the most beautiful and amazing calendar I have ever seen. I feel like taking these pictures out after the year is over and framing them - seriously. Such impressive talent!
I expected a bit more wordly tree pictures. Felt I paid quite a bit for a calender that has almost all the same types of trees and is called "the nature of trees" made in Sausalito, CA, not "The nature of Coastal CA trees". RENAMEI could also be biased because I relaized I love color and that's a biggie for me
A beautiful calendar, shipped quickly - and thank goodness too, because the other two calendars I ordered (from different companies) took months to arrive. Without this wonderful product, I still might not know what day it is! Ha! Thanks again.
I have been using this calendar line at work for several years. It has replaced a previous line called "Among Trees". When thinks are tense, it's great to look up and see trees!
