Calendar is of excellent quality without that bad "new calendar smell" that bugs me. The photos are wonderful images and the squares are a nice size and white so my writing shows up clearly. This will get me thru the rest of the year as I have Downton Abbey withdrawals. Why only 4 stars? It is a English product...meaning only U.K. holidays are printed and the week starts on Monday (Mon-Sun). I'm OK without the US holidays, but it is hard glancing at the calendar and having to really pay attention to the days of the week.
OK. it was shipped internationally at a fantastic price. I couldn't get one in Tallahassee Fl. However there are no quotes with the pitures. Last year each month had a line from the show, Maggie Smith's "what are weekends?". The pics are great but disapointed with no quotes. Still this callendar arrived in mint condition.
A very beautiful item that came very well packaged. I don't like the US version since it contains images that I already have from the previous UK 2012 calendar. The UK 2013 version offers nice pictures of the Christmas special and season 3. This time the designers opted for bigger pics and no quotes. Still, I like it better than the other versions. Shipping is very slow (1 month) but worth it!
The only reason I gave this calendar 4 stars instead of 5, is because the week starts on Monday. I prefer it when the week starts on Sunday. It is taking some time to adjust to this format. The pictures are great though! It's worth it to re-learn the week format.
So who's not addicted to this show? Each month has great photos of the characters from the show. Nice quality heavy paper with big squares for writing in appointments and other reminders. Very nice calendar for those that love the show.
a little slow getting here as it came from across the pond so be patient. Good pictures but nothing that wow's you. would have preferred more castle pictures.
