My son is in the second grade and I have a very hard time finding books that are challenging yet hold his interest. He found this book and wanted to read it. It has 300+ pages and I was a little worried he would get bored with it. He loved it so much he actually read the thing in a day. He has never been so engrossed in a book! The pages are very colorful and there are small activities spaced throughout the short chapters. He loved following Geronimo through his adventures with ogres, witches, the candy land, etc. It also helped build his confidence given he finished such a long book. We will definately be getting more of these.

We love Geronimo Stilton - my boys just eat this series up. The books are funny and have plots, and the puns and funny situations give us the giggles. We haven't found a dud yet, but even so, this book is a nice surprise. It is a full-length novel, much bigger than the usual Geronimo Stilton chapter books. 300 pages, and get ready for some great maps and illustrations. Games, codes, and mazes are sprinkled through the book to keep your reader engaged. The double-page illustrations of each find-the-crystal-key page are very well done indeed. If you have more than one Geronimo Stilton fan, you might want to buy multiples of this book.

This is hopeless in Kindle form..the text is so small you need a magnifying glass to see it! A huge disappointment given it was the first ebook we purchased for our daughter to read on her new kindle. We didn't bother downloading a free sample because we know the Geronimo books are great, however will definitely do so in future to assess whether any book is satisfactory in kindle form. Sadly this one is not and we have wasted $9.99.

My 8 year old son loves these books. He is not too excited about reading, but he is reading these fantasy series rather quick. I can tell he really likes them because he doesn't ask if "reading time" is over. He keeps on reading. If other parents have a boy who likes fantasy, I recommend this series. I also recommend the graphic novels of The Amulet. My son actually kept asking for the next books and read them each in one sitting. Both series are excellent and very magical. I'm so glad to finally find something that keeps my child's interest!

My 8 yr old has every one of the Geronimo Stilton books and he read each of them in about a week. He got a low grade in school in Reading, last semester. So, I asked him if he wanted to get a bookshelf in his room and fill it with books he read. He immediately asked for the next book in this series and the rest is history. Keep in mind this is a kid who prefers to play with Legos, be outside with other friends or get some time on the Xbox...in the middle of a free Saturday afternoon, I have seen him pick up this book, go to a quiet place and read. I could not recommend this any higher.

Another wonderful story my son loves these and was so excited to get another one I have seen kids 3 to 14 enjoy these stories...what's better most add a bit of actually history our geography in the books

I purchased this for my son, who is 6, as he has been reading for 3 years now, and he LOVES it! He loves this series, and after looking through this book myself, I highly recommend it. It has vivid, bright illustrations that are really nice, and various colored fonts throughout the chapters, rather than the standard type print. There are pictures on almost every page, and the books in this series are scattered with activities, recipes, etc. This is by far one of the best children's series I have discovered for my children. Now my 5 yr old daughter has started reading them because my son has been so enthusiastic about them! He reads one or two of these in a day, and keeps re-reading them...highly recommend! Lovely quality book pages and binding as well...

I bought this book for my young children to read before bed. I like it because it is actually fairly interesting and fun to read for me, and the kids like it because it has a lot of nice pictures and is interesting for them as well. They especially like the maps that are printed for each area that our hero travels through and they ask me what everything is. My 2nd grader can also read this book on her own with some help on some words, and I have her read parts of it sometimes. It is seldom that I have found books to read to the kids that I actually do not mind reading myself. I have read two of the books in the Kingdom of Fantasy series so far and have enjoyed both.
