I bought this book for Thanksgiving. It is a cute book where the end of the sentences rhyme. It is basically a counting book that counts down from 5 to 1. It is not really thanksgiving themed, except the last line where it says Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Instead you see turkeys dancing, sight seeing, sun bathing, etc. I still think it is a really cute book. The babies laugh and smile at it each time we read it. They seem to like the rhyming, the bright colorful pages and the crinkle tail feathers. They love to crinkle the tail feathers in their little hands and laugh. The book is pretty durable & the crinkle feathers seem to be anchored pretty well to the boardbook. The babies grab a hold of the book by the tail feathers! I didn't give it 5 stars since it isn't technically "Thanksgiving" themed, but overall it is a great book. I like the book. The illustrations are adorable! I would recommend this book. I would buy it again---even as a Thanksgiving present.
I enjoyed this book so much that I actually wrote a song for it! The kids in my pre-k music class just love the rhymes, and it is VERY FUNNY! I highly recommend for 3-6 year olds.
This is a very cute board book. It has little shiny tail feathers sticking out that baby can grab onto while reading. A really great book for Thanksgiving.
I bought this for my just turned two year old twin boys. I read this to them while they are in their highchairs eating and they love this book. Its got a cute little rhyme that I have already memorized and bright tail feathers. My one son cries when the book is over and I have to read it over again. Of all the books that I have read to them, this is their most favorite.
This book will be a long holiday tradition in our home. We purchased it as a gift and heard such wonderful things from the toddler and his parents. This book provided a solid hour of entertainment - which in Toddler time is pure gold!
Wonderful book for young children! I'm an early intervention teacher and I stumbled upon this book by happy accident. I read the reviews and was sold. When I got the book I was even more sold! My kids are enjoying the rhyming adventures of these cute little turkeys. I have always been on the lookout for a good "Thanksgivivg" book that would be meaningful to my little ones (birth to age 3) and I sure found it with this one! What FUN!
Very cute well made board book! It has crinkly material for tail feathers for tactile development and can be used as a counting book also. I bought it for my two year old great grandson. It's a very nice little book. I bought the Winter book along with it for Christmas. The quality of these books will make them last a long time! Great purchase!
My twin grandsons love watching the Five Little Monkeys video on my phone. So this book is a lot of fun for them - and for me - to read. Love the pretty "feathers" that stick out of the book. Make it more festive and easier to turn the pages for little hands.
