Good little paperback book of Octonauts. I did have a hard time finding Octonauts books that are meant for the younger crowd 3-5 year olds. The book is very wordy and long and kind of complicated but it goes perfectly with the episode but deffinately not a book he could start to read with or learn himself.

We bought this along with the Octonauts and the Whale Shark and the Octonauts and the Whitetip Shark books. I like the color/illustrations of all these books but they are a bit skinny and flimsy. I am afraid my two and a half year old son will rip it since he usually wants to be the one holding the book. If you are getting these for an older kid, then they should be fine and the books do match up well with the shows which is nice. But for a younger child, they may end up getting ruined. The price is low enough though so you can always get a replacement if needed which is what we'll do if the time comes.

My 3-year-old is obsessed with the Octonauts, and she loves this story. She especially loves how, when they sound the Octo-alert, it's a two-page spread, and she can make a big deal out of it. She has the TV episode memorized, so she'll try to "read" the story to me. Too cute!

The pictures are large and fun to see. The books contain some interesting facts about the penguins and the last page contains some more detailed information about penguins (in lieu of the "creature report" for fans of the show). The story tracks the show pretty closely and this has been a frequently requested book from my toddler.

I'm very pleased with my purchase and seller. My grandson loves his books.

if your kids enjoy the show then the book is a good choice. very good illustrations and follows the same story as the episode

This was purchased as a gift for our friend's daughter. She was very happy to get the book and loved all of the pictures.

Love this book. It is based on one of the episodes, which I think makes it more interesting for my girl
