Announcing a brand new idea in publishing books for babies: the completely durable, completely safe Indestructibles. Published on the same paper-like material used in shipping envelopes, Indestructibles are 100% baby-proof: chew-proof, drool-proof, and rip-proof. That's because Indestructibles not only will not tear or turn gummy with teething, but they are also completely washable.Indestructibles are also energetic, beautiful, and created just for baby. The printing material reproduces color artwork with uncommon depth, and with no residual inkiness; the artwork, paintings by Kaaren Pixton and reminiscent of Eric Carle, is happy, each page a simple, colorful image of an animal or bird or insect against a rich, textured background. The effect is 3D-like and completely visual. There are no words, making each perfect for parents and babies to look at together, with mom or dad telling the story.Three titles launch the series: Creep! Crawl! about animals that crawl, Flutter! Fly! about animals that fly, and Wiggle! March! about farm animals―books babies can really sink their teeth into.

Super cute and awesome for babies. Seriously, buy these books because babies love paper but can never play with it! My only complaint is that there are no words! I have purchased others and they had words. Oh well.

Our favorite books! These indestructibles are pages of fun and bold colors. Just right for a busy and inquisitive under 1yr old who enjoys the made up stories or just to practice turning the pages themselves! We love the almost tyvek-like material. Cleans up wonderfully and while it shoes some wrinkles after a bit of use, holds up extremely well to the sucking, biting, crunching and slobbering it endures while being read :)

I got one of these as a baby shower gift and had to buy one for two other friends' baby showers. These books truly are indestructible. My little guy loves the illustrations with the vivid colors. Being a former teacher, I love that these are wordless books for young children, but can also be used for older children to spark a conversation about meta cognition while reading. I also love that my little guy can put these in his mouth, spill things on them, and try to tear them and they are still in tact.

My 3 year old twins are tough on our board books, chewing the corners, tearing the covers off, and ripping the pictures off of the pages like a sticker. I thought we'd give these a shot, I am very impressed! Even though the pages are thin, they cannot destroy them! My only criticism is that I wish there were words on the pages.

I got some of these books as gift for a rough playing toddler years ago. He bit, tugged at, and generally tried to destroy the books. They survived. He is about 10 years old now, but I still remember how well they held up. I bought them again for a different child, and they were good books for the baby puts everything in mouth stage.

I have all of the Indestructible books and these poor books have been through so much. My son is on a mission to destroy them. He pulls at the pages, chews on them, walks on them, tries to crumple them into a ball. Yet he can't defeat these books. I wish all children's books were made like this. They truly are indestructible!

OK, these Tyvek books are awesome! As you know, babies don't want to read books and they don't even care a whole lot about the pictures. What they want to do is open it up and start chewing on it. This destroys normal books in under a minute and will eventually destroy board books, although it takes a bit more time for all that baby slobber to soak in. These books, however, can be slobbered on all you want. The can be pulled and won't rip. They can be chewed on forever (with gums... not sure how it would stand up to teeth) and in the end you have a book that looks a bit beat up, but is otherwise not damaged. I also like that you can stick it in the dishwasher if it needs to be cleaned for whatever reason. Finally, unlike a board book, it is light enough that baby can easily handle it without any trouble.Recommended to anyone with babies under 1. This book will still be in good enough shape to entertain you great grandchildren, provided nobody takes a pair of scissors to it or throws it away.

My 20-month old has - literally - chewed through and ripped the binding out of board books, taken apart the foam insert from padded books and made ordinary paper magazines look as if they were mauled by a pack of savage dogs. He has not been able to destroy the Indestructibles, although he has crumpled them up a bit. Though he likes looking at the animals my only wish is that these books could be published with stories, rhymes etc.
