Love this book. It is very good second person reader, " You wouldn't want to.....series. I think I want to collect the series. It will help students the learn to write it is a great book for elementary school students. I think this will help young writers make the connection between reading and writing.
My son received this as a gift when he was 6 and it has been a huge hit. We've learned so much and then made a family "field trip" to see the Brooklyn Bridge. You can actually walk across the bridge and there are historical plaques that tell the story just as in this book. The book is so enjoyable and well written for kids, and adults too. Now we are huge Brooklyn Bridge groupies and we have gone on to buy many more books in this series.
Wonderful true story of the Robling's who built this historic and beloved bridge of NYC. It is full of facts and will appeal to a child with its illustrations. A Perfect gift for that special child

This book really help with the history of the bridge and is great for children who are anticipating their first trip to New York.
