This is a wonderful calendar which offers both entertainment and valuable information as a teaching tool. It's very unique and beautifully done with illustrations that combine humor and knowledge. On the practical side it's just the right size to fit into a student's backpack to take to school and help him/her keep track of their many activities. I am very pleased that this gem of a calendar has made my Christmas shopping for13 year old and 10 year old students who are special in my life so easy this year! I highly recommend it and, in fact, am going to order one for myself!
The Emery's World of Science Calendar is an excellent example of the magnificent things that can occur when science and literature come together. It should be displayed in all middle schools and beyond as a tribute to all American scientists, creators, and innovators. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a teacher, a collector, or simply interested in publications worth keeping.
Great choice for calendar-buying season. Lots of interesting info on science and inventions brought to you by Emery & Co. The overall humor is quirky but warm in the Peanuts tradition--a high-level, educational and entertaining effort by a talented team of authors. Bravo!
