I've been a fan of [the late] Susan Seddon Boulet's work for a while. Some of the recent calendars have seemed a bit on the dull side, as if the publishers were stretching to find any bit of lesser-known art, or try to make some kind of themed collection. So I haven't purchased as many SSB items in the past two years as I had before. But this calendar takes us back to the good collections. I am not disappointed and I hope that you will not be either! There are familiar images and less-familiar ones, and all reflect SSB's mastery of multimeda (in the old sense of more than one art medium -- crayon, ink, pencil & paints), dreams, visions & archetypes. Enjoy.
Susan's work is exquisite and this calendar allows a view of a different work each month. The paper is solid and the calendar blocks themselves are clear, large and include special dates and moon info. There is also a poem at the bottom of each page. Love it!
I love so many art pieces of Susans I see myself in many of her art works The dogs on the front of this calendar is the exact look alike of my dog who also looks like a wolf beautiful art work a must have for me every year I purchase her calendar
In looking into the monthly pictures, as well as descriptions, one finds other realities that seem to jump out as in a Shamanic Dream or Journey. Very beautifully done by Susan.
Love her work and the pictures in this are beautiful. Some stand out favourites but everyone has different tastes if you like her work you will love this.
