This little book is a great collector's item for Allman Brothers Band fans. The author condensed a large amount of information on this band, in just this one small book. It is full of photos. It covers the ABB's history from 1961, when Gregg & Duane begin playing their music around Daytona Beach & Jacksonville, Florida. It covers the official formation of the band in 1969. It continues on up through around 2006.It covers their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. It covers Gregg's marriage to Cher. It covers the deaths of Duane & Berry. It covers all the "Ups & Downs" of the ABB, their performances at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. It covers lots & lots of information on the ABB, & on "Southern Rock".It covers their albums, their videos, & their Awards & Recognitions.This is one little book, packed with information & photos. It's very easy to read & follow. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed with this book, espcially at the very low price. It's well worth the cost.
