I bought this for my 15 year old daughter who loves Disney and is in Level 2B in piano. Being 15, she wasn't really getting into the regular lesson books. They are geared toward younger kids. She would rather play something she knows and does like a challenge. Some of the songs are attainable at that level when she works hard and some are harder for later. It's also fun for me, a fairly advanced player, because I can easily sight read them for my girls to sing along with.
I give piano lessons, and this book with so many Disney movie songs has motivated one of my students to really learn notes so she can play the pieces. Note range is 1 1/2 octaves above and below middle C. Book is well made.
I like the book and the music inside is great! The music is a little harder than I had thought it would be, but that's my fault, not the book. It arrived at my home quickly! All in all, very good experience!
I purchased this piano book as a Christmas gift for my adult niece who is learning to play piano. It contains a wonderful variety of Disney songs--new and old. Some songs are easy and some are a bit more challenging which is a good thing when learning. She was so excited to get this book and sat right down to play. I recommend this to a beginning pianist who knows the notes on each hand and loves Disney songs!
The song are very familiar to my young students and the songs are easy to play. Good as an addition to the Lesson Book each student should be using.
The book is a good touch to learn more enjoyable music vs the music the teachers are trying to make me learn. Ha
