My two year old loves these books and the music that comes with them. She's enjoyed the books for well over a year now and still picks them frequently. Now that she's familiar with the accompanying music on the CD, she usually wants us to "sing" as we read. It really is a nice collection with fun, simple, bright and bold illustrations. It's one of our go-to items for gifts for friends too!
My grandson loves the First Songs Library. It's so much fun to see him at 22 months doing the motions to songs like 'If you're happy and you know it'! He follows along in the books and also likes to look at the books even when the music isn't playing.
We bought this for our daughter when she was20 months old. She still loves listening to it three months later. Would listen and "read" the books everyday if I put it on. Not sure I love the singing - why the English accents I wonder? - but who cares if I like it. Great value as well. 51 songs and 3 books for less than $15.
This is a great collection of classic english children's songs. I cannot speak to the CD as I have not used it yet, but even if it is no good the books are pretty & perfect for singing through with your children,
This is probably the WORST children graphic I've ever seen in the book. And the singers on CDs or songs style are generally annoying. I'll suggest download app Pandora radio - search for these stations: Toddler radio, Rockabye baby, Lullaby, Lullaby themes... And buy songs you and your baby likes after you listen few of them ;) Pandora rocks! Don't waste money on this junk!
I purchased two of these items as gifts for Christmas. I cannot comment on how the children liked them, but I bought them off of because of the amazing price! Based on the price I saw at other stores this was a wonderful buy.
