This is my 5 year old's favorite book. We borrowed it from the library earlier this year and after reading it once I knew I was going to have to buy it. My daughter LOVES it, and my husband and I do as well. Make sure you check out some of the other singing books by Hoberman.
Katie (1.5 yrs) loves rhythm and rhymes and this book pays off big time. It's fun to read and play but it is also great to look at! The pictures are terrific. After hearing the story, Katie started playing with the sounds as she did other things around the house. Great for musical children.
I am a music teacher for elementary school kids as well as a mother who loves children's books. This book naturally lends itself to singing and kids love it. The lyrics are witty and funny and it has a heartwarming ending as well. A must have for the music classroom!!
Today's children's books seem to sacrifice learning for cuteness. This one is different... This book combines rhyming, sing-a-long, colourful pictures with a good life lesson. My twin sons enjoy this book over & over again...and, I don't groan each time they ask to read it!
This is my daughter's favorite book. I love to sing/read it to her. It is fun, fun, fun. Any other the Hoberman or Westcott ones are great, but this one is a delight for sure.
This was a well written and illustrated children's book. The children like the repetition and found the book entertaining. I wouldhighly recommend it for kids ages 2 - 6.
This book arrived with many torn pages, the cover of the book badly bent.....very poor condition. I lovedthe story, but very disappointed in the condition of the book.
