My book arrived on time, and was packaged well, but my heart sank when I tried to open the book. It was taped together on the top, side, and bottom with packing tape to keep the parts inside I guess. I carefully removed the tape and only had minor cover damage afterwards. Please do not use packing tape in the future on books. A sheet of simple bubble wrap would have worked great.
This chunky book gives you a selection of plastic nuts and bolts complete with spanner with which to construct a simple version of Disney's Haunted Mansion. It comes with characters and furnishings that you press out to complete the scene. Kids will really enjoy putting it together and it makes a great souvenir of the ride. Suitable for up to age 10 (or those adults who are into Disney collectibles).
Fun activity and a nice connection back to the theme park ride (and movie), but then it's a thing on a shelf. Neat, but now I have to find a home for the house and the book.
