I have built a lot of paper castles and this one is absolutely wonderful. There are a couple of things about it I will explain. First off it is printed on quality stock and that makes a big difference. And it is an "interactive" castle. There are little hidden things that you can move, a dragons lair with dragon, observatory, wizards bed chamber and more. You can take the tops off the turrets and look inside, and you can open walls to look into buildings. Simply a lot of fun.If you are new to castle building you might want to start with this one. It goes together very well.
Excellent! A very three dimensional model that can actually be played and not just to look. One of the best paper models I've built. Had lots of details with hidden surprises,i.e, moving parts, dragon in alcove,etc.
I haven't put mine together yet, but there's a youtube.com video available of this Wizard's Castle after assembly for anyone interested and it's just adorable. My book arrived in good shape--I ordered it 'used' but it came intact as a book, nothing cut out yet, and the book was in good shape. I just have to get the special knife and possibly a cutting board I need to cut it out accurately. If you're interested in this castle,
I remember doing these with my mom as a little girl. Now I have a little girl and can't wait until she's old enough to put this together with me. The paper looks less sturdy than I remember ( i was only 8 back then) but that'll make it easier to cut.
Got this kit many years ago and happy to see it's still available. Very detailed and challenging but fun to assemble!
