DC Comics Masks: Nine Masks Of DC Comics Heroes And Villains To Assemble And Wear
Read Free Books and Download eBooks

DC Comics is one of the oldest and largest comic book publishers in the world and home to some of the best-known comic characters - many of whom have been featured in television programmes, films, toys and merchandise worldwide. In this book, nine DC characters are reproduced in full-colour masks. Some of the greatest heroes and villains of all time - Batman, Catwoman, Wonderwoman, Superman, Joker, Two-Face, Flash included - are now transformed into masks ready to press out of the book and assemble. All the mask designs and accessories are authenticated by DC Comics. Brief descriptions of each character's history, habits and, of course, superpowers are supplied by DC. Each mask has assembly instructions and for those who won't stop at just a mask and want the full regalia, a picture of the complete character shows all the details of his or her costume.

Book very well done. This was for my daughter, age 11. I orignally bought it at a bookstore. This is her second issue. She built all these masks when she was 9 and wanted to do some over. I found it online for cheap and picked it up again. She is bright enough to follow directions by herself and she loves the end product. Well worth the money.

I bought this for my son when he was 4 because like most little boys, he loves superheroes. But it was not at all what I expected - the illustrations on the cover do not show what the masks actually look like. I found them to be a bit scary looking, with some of them having creepy expressions (Wonder Woman looks dead!). I didn't end up giving it to him for a long time cuz I kept thinking I'd send it back but then he found it and wanted it. Once we finally tried to assemble one of the masks it took forever - you have to punch out many pieces - some quite small - then glue together lots of little folds to give the mask its shape and connect pieces - definitely NOT a project to do with a toddler, even with the adult doing most of the work - it is VERY TEDIOUS! After two lengthy sessions of gluing, we still haven't gotten Superman together! It's too bad cuz it's a great idea, but is should be clear this is for adult comic lovers (or possibly older children). It'd be great if they'd do a simpler, more kid-friendly version with flat images that could just be tied around their heads or somehow more easily 3D.

The edge of the cover was bent a little upon opening it but nothing to bad its a good buy if you need a quick party mask
