Combined with music and simple art projects, this book and the others in the series, have made for a wonderful class for grades 2-3 and 4-6. The books are accessable and engaging, allowing the students to learn and have fun at the same time. I would highly recommend these books for nearly any setting, in a music class, as a supplement to instrumental lessons, or simply music enrichment with your child at home.

I have found all of the books ion this series to be a fabulous resource in my fine arts program. They would be a great addition to any home library whether or not it is in a homeschool environment.

Great book for children. Informative and accurate with wonderful artwork. A must for a young prodigy. It came beautifully wrapped and shipped quickly. Couldn't be happier

The information was very helpful. We enjoyed reading the book and learned some good stuff about Handel. It was a good size and not too wordy.

Our entire family LOVES these books and videos. They are funny and informative and accurate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series, the one on artists too. I wish I owned them all. I tell all of my friends about them and just bought a bunch for stocking stuffers.

A short Biography for Children that has illustrated cartoon pictures, along with pictures of famous paintings, placed into a book that children can easily read. I recommend all of the "Getting to Know the World's greatest composers" series.
