It was just a very short book. Just the song, rain rain go away come again another day, the little children want to play, so rain rain please go away. Hooray!Cute, but wish there was more.
Simple but sweet. One year old loves the shiny cover and loves the song. At the end the sun returns and she loves that the children shout Hooray! Yes these are very short simple books but they are perfect and babies love them. This one has a shiny cover that is also great
It wasn't what I expected since having other Caroline Jayne Church books. It barely has the 1st verse of the song. I sent it back. I'll be sure to review a book like this in store first before buying again.
I've given this book to 3 & 4 year old little friends and both seem to love it immediately - the 4-yr-old seemed so proud that she could "read" it to her 2-yr-old sister--really a darling book!
This book is so short, it's like a joke. It is over before even your little one gets excited. I would recommend "We are going on a bear hunt", "Itsy bitsy spider" and "The wheels on the bus" they are much longer, have better pictures and the moves/sounds you do are very entertaining for the little ones.
One of my daughter's favorite books. Nice shiny cover to attract. Very cute illustrations as well! She is very hard on books and thus board books are the only way to go, thank you. As beautiful as the 1st day!
The book is nicely drawn, but let's face it, it's an illustration of a 4 line poem. It's totally not worth the cover price. The only reason I bought it was because my two year old had it from the library and she wanted to take it everywhere. I was worried the library would charge more if something happened to it.
My grand niece has read this over and over since I gave it to her last month for her birthday. Perfect companion to the raincoat and umbrella that I also purchased Love the illustrations.
