This book is great for young students (1-3 grades). However, it is a bit "childish". But it is the best I've seen on the market for the young beginners.
Needed this book for a summer guitar lesson for my son. What I didn't see stated anywhere in this description is that these books take 2-3 weeks to ship??? None of the customer service agents could offer an explanation either. The book is great, just be sure to order it ahead of time.
This is definitely more for kids than adults in terms of the songs. But I've been teaching guitar for more than 10 years, and this is the book I go back to again and again. This is the best beginner guitar book on the market for a number of reasons.
This book was recommended by a friend and I am using it to teach a 9 year old how to play. He can pretty much teach himself because the book is so easy to use.
